A dramatic vintage seascape in oil: waves rolling in and breaking white against dark rocks, with tall sea cliffs rising on the right and a soft, pink-tinged sky over open water. The brushwork is loose, confident, and impressionistic, especially in the surf, which almost seems to move.
Painted in Europe, circa 1930s. Set in an ornate gilt frame with scrolled corner ornaments.
