This handmade rustic wooden chest is both functional and decorative, with intricate floral and geometric designs. Perfect as an ornamental piece while functional with interior storage space.
The exact age and origin unknown, but estimated Circa 1900. The original hand-forged wrought iron side handles, and hand carved floral motifs are details often found in early European dowry chests.
The previous owner added an interior shelf as a false button, which can be removed if desired.
