original dining chair by niels o. Møller, produced by j.l. Møllers møbelfabrik in denmark. Model 71, designed in 1951, is one of møller's finest works: a remarkably delicate chair with an organic backrest, perfect proportions, and outstanding craftsmanship – a highlight of scandinavian mid-century design.

made of solid oak and reupholstered with hand-woven danish paper cord, which gives the design its characteristic lightness. The craftsmanship of the backrest and joints demonstrates high precision.

expertly restored: the wood has been sanded, repainted, and glued. The weave is new. The surface shows a beautiful patina with only minor signs of wear. A versatile vintage classic that can be used stylishly both individually and in combination.
