original set of two dining chairs by niels o. Møller, produced by j.l. Møllers møbelfabrik in denmark. The model 75, designed in 1954, is one of møller's most purist designs – a reduced, compact design with an elegantly curved backrest and balanced proportions. The shape is exemplary of scandinavian mid-century design and combines quality craftsmanship with timeless functionality.
made of solid oak, both chairs are upholstered in new, hand-woven danish paper cord. The precise workmanship, especially in the backrest and tenon joints, makes these chairs long-lasting classics – versatile for use at the dining table, in the home office, or as statement pieces in the room.
expertly restored: the wood has been sanded, repainted, and securely glued. The seats have been rewoven. The surfaces display an even, subtle patina with only slight signs of wear. A high-quality vintage set in a rare design that embodies clarity and scandinavian elegance.
