Ceramic bust of Mexican President Venustiano Carranza, a significant figure in Mexican history.
Leader of the Mexican Revolution and later president of the new Mexican republic from 1917 to 1920. Born: 1859 - 1920.
President Venustiano was a Mexican land owner, served as the 44th President of Mexico from 1917 until his assasination in 1920, during the Mexican Revolution. He played a leading role in drafting the Constitution of 1917 and maintained Mexico neutrality in World War 1.
