A substantial pair of antique cast stone lion garden statues sculpted in a classical style, each depicted with one paw resting on a heraldic shield. The figures display expressive modeling and balanced symmetry, with subtly varied facial details that add character and depth.
The surfaces show natural aging with rich patina, including areas of moss and lichen consistent with outdoor display. Crafted in heavy cast stone, the statues date to the 1930s–1940s and reflect the architectural garden ornamentation popular in early 20th-century Mediterranean Revival design. Each base features an embossed rectangular cartouche, softened by time and wear.
