Since opening her own studio in 2013, she has nurtured her curiosity for the craft, experimenting within the existing boundaries of textile production to elevate old techniques to a modern stage. Condition: Overall excellent. Some irregularities with threads via handwoven production

Each cushion is hand-woven in a workshop in San Jacinto, a municipality in the North of Columbia. Similar to the production of the hamacas, which are typical for the region, it is the artesanas, the craftswomen, who produce the textiles on vertical looms. The stripe pattern is inspired by the Chumbe Inga, a traditional Colombian garment It takes up to ten days for the women artisans to produce one cushion. See less
