Likely made between 1880 and 1900 and consistent with workshops such as Cantagalli in Florence, the vase features classical portraiture on one side and a fantastical grotteschi creature on the other—hallmarks of Italian Renaissance iconography.
Paired with a perfectly matching custom pleated lampshade made from a vintage silk print.
