Decorative table lamp from Italy from the 1970s. The base is made of ceramic decorated with a very effective glaze called sang de boeuf (bull's blood). This glaze is obtained by using copper in its composition. The glaze recipe was first developed in China during the Ming Dynasty. The glaze is characterized by a very deep shade of red with delicate staining in other colors. The lamp has a bulb holder with E27 thread. The switch is located on the cable. The lamp is preserved in very good condition with minor traces of use. Height: 68 cm. Base diameter: 20 cm. Lower diameter of the lampshade: 42 cm. Base height without bulb: 50 cm.
