A refined example of austrian mid-century lighting design, these kalmar ice glass sconces from the 1960s offer a perfect blend of minimalism and sculptural texture. Each fixture is composed of two thick, organically shaped “ice glass” panels mounted on a simple brass bracket, designed to evoke the natural, irregular beauty of frozen water. The textured surface of the glass diffuses the light softly while producing an engaging interplay of shadow and glow.
