Set of eight antique Vienna Secessionist school Café, Bistro, Dining chairs, attributed to Thonet, made in Poland, circa 1900/20’s. These stylish chairs feature bentwood frames, probably constructed of naive Beech, with decorative features including lath turned back supports, and curved stretchers. The seats were originally caned, at some point in time, these have been replaced with wood planks, which are in black paint finish.
All are structurally sound and sturdy, all show general signs of age and use normal and consistent with age, please see images.
Attributed to Thonet, possibly Fischer, or JJ Kohn.
