Early 1900s Country Landscape in Gilt Frame- 13 x 15”
Truly lovely, antique, early 1900s countryside landscape. Has been cleaned to reveal the beautiful vibrancy and color of when it was originally painted. Perfectly paired with its antique, gilt gesso frame, which is likely even older than the work itself. There are many similar landscapes out there but this one has a particular beauty to it. Would be lovely in a kitchen, bathroom or hallway. There are some small repairs to the frame and some light cracks in the paint at the edges. Incredibly charming overall. Medium is oil on board. Board label suggests this piece is American.
