Materials: terracotta and wooden frame and green velvet background.

The author Franco Reggiani was a designer and sculptor. In addition to designing great cars for Ferrari and Maserati, he created the Ferrari Evoluzione sculpture on commission from Giorgio Fini and as a gift to Enzo Ferrari on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Scuderia Ferrari. Soon after, Reggiani decided to create a monumental version of it, which is now displayed, after several different locations, in the traffic circle along Via Trattati di Roma, near the Reggio Emilia AV Mediopadana station and at the exit of the Reggio Emilia highway tollbooth, in an area that had already been envisioned for Reggiani himself in 1984.
