Tilopa Monk (Rüdiger Frank), born on September 13, 1949, in Lutterloh, died on June 23, 2010, in Wuppertal, was a German painter and engraver.
The painter Tilopa Monk studied at the Düsseldorf Academy under Joseph Beuys from 1969 and at the Munich Academy under Prof. Mac Zimmermann from 1973 to 1979. His works have been exhibited at the Landesmuseum Bonn, Mittelrheinmuseum Koblenz, Germanisches Nationalmuseum Nuremberg, Haus der Kunst Munich, Kunstmuseum Veje (DK), Goethe Institute Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Kunsthaus Conzen Düsseldorf, Thang Long Fine Arts HàNôi (Vietnam), and many other galleries worldwide.
