Elegant French-made low sideboard dating from the 1950s, blending classic aesthetics with the refinement of post-war modernist design.
The front features superb marquetry in precious wood veneer (rosewood or walnut), with a central star motif and symmetrical chevrons on the side panels.
Decorated with light maple stringing and floral inlays in brass or gilded bronze, this piece evokes the world of great Parisian cabinetmaking houses such as Maison Jansen or André Arbus. The base, with fluted tapered legs, topped with brass sabots, reinforces the neoclassical elegance of the piece.
The entire piece rests on a solid wood structure, a guarantee of solidity and quality. This piece is in good condition, ready to be integrated into a refined interior.
Comprising five storage doors with shelves and three integrated drawers. Slight signs of wear consistent with age.
