This pair of mid century Finnish modern birch wood Model 64 stools originally designed by Alvar Aalto (Finnish, 1898-1976) for Artek in 1930s were made in Finland in 2015. These Model 64 bar stools have a classic Nordic design with clean, minimalist lines and gentle curves. These counter height stools features signature Aalto design aesthetic and materials with tall laminated natural birch bentwood legs joined by a circular stretcher and a matte black laminate seat. “ICF” (importer) stamps on underside of seats.
CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Some scuffing to the laminate seat of one stool as per photos. Artek / Made in Finland 80 year anniversary plaque to underside.
