This beautiful ufo pendant light in opaline glass with teak in great condition was designed and produced by Swedish designers and brothers Uno & Östen Kristiansson.
They where known for their lighting and mirror designs, and particularly active from the 1950s to the 1970s in Sweden. They were prolific designers with a clear design aesthetic that is easily recognizable as Scandinavian modern. Although there is a dearth of biographical information available on the pair, their designs are nonetheless appreciated by vintage lovers, and are highly sought-after on the vintage market today.
This lamp has a diameter of 34 cm and a height including the teak of 28 cm. The current cable is 50 cm from light till ceilinghat.
The light is signed at its hat.
Condition: bright and no chips. This piece has an attribution mark,
