It bears the following notes: "Distributed in Paris by the author, at the Royal Gobelins Factory Inn and on Rue Saint Jacques, with royal privileges," "Designed from life, for the Most Christian King, by F. vander Meulen," and "Baudouin sculpted."
Not observed outside the frame; some foxing and stains, and traces of folding.
