This brass and pewter mirror was crafted by Jean Goardère, a luxury craftsman who received the prestigious titles of "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" and "la Coupe du Bon Goût Français" in 1969 (distinctions awarded by the government to commend excellence in craftsmanship).
The frame is made of raw brass sheets adorned with tin solder forming an abstract brutalist design.
The back is blackened wood.
