Early 19th century Verre Eglomise painting of St. Marie (the Virgin Mary) in original frame. Striking colors of blue and red make this a very special piece.
Verre Eglomise is the fine art of reverse painting on glass originating in the 13th century and later revived in the 18th century by French designer Jean-Baptiste Glomy.
