Original Carpenter's Tool Trunk
Tool insert intact and removeable.
Solid wood construction and sturdy.
Beautiful molding. Raised wood on exterior of trunk lid. Lovely interior molding on trunk lid.
Iron handles. Hinges in working condition. No lock or key.
It has edged molding and raised top.
Inside Carpenter tool insert is 7 3/8" wide x 34" D. It rests on a lip inside trunk and has compartments, the long one, not partitioned, actually has a deeper setting to accommodate long and narrow tools.
Chain may have been added and could benefit with a replacement as one of the links has broken.
This is the real deal - with all the patina of a used tool box.
It would be a great addition to any home as a stand alone piece. Or stacked with other trucks for additional visual interest.
