Abstract portrait painting of a man in a unique and typical style of this listed artist Don Shearer. This painting is signed verso and titled "Young James".
Shearer is one of the original 20 artists to create the Miami, South Beach art scene in the design district in 1982. He then moved to NYC to later create his art that is widely collected today. This painting is typical of Shearer’s style of painting, with the use of bold bright colors that overlap and drip together. The painting is 30” high and is signed and dated 2010 verso. Ready for hanging even though it is not framed. Shearer’s paintings have recently evolved into designer clothing, and although his paintings are widely collected, he’s not as prolific as he could be.
