A fantastic large Empire style mirror in gilded wood and gesso with green accents, decorated with stylized foliage friezes from the 19th century.
This is a rectangular mirror with an ornate gold-leafed cast gesso ornament made by a master frame maker of outstanding quality.
The frame has a decorative border featuring a pattern of leaves and scrolls, with a green band running along the inner edge.
Aesthetic gilding, which contrasts beautifully with the green in the frame.
