A cut crystal model from the 1950s, Camargue has survived the decades without going out of fashion, thanks to a simple line and slightly flared glasses giving them a beautiful balance.
The design retains the attributes of a luxury production: the star-cut base is the first detail signifying high-end and the hexagonal ""umbrella"" base, and a range offering overlay variations (Roemer glasses)\.
The Camargue range is made from strong, deeply cut crystal, which gives it a beautiful shine.
The tulip-shaped chalice of each is cut with tall and pointed lozenges, while the stem features elegantly cut flat ribs.
The set is from the 'Camargue' series, which was created in 1955, and refers to the the region of the same name in the south of France.
