A stylish very fine example of an Art Deco entree / serving dish with lid.
Octagonal shape highlighted by a gradient rim, decorated with two stepped handles, and on the top a central faceted handle in precious rosewood.
Just back from our silversmiths workshop where it has been overhauled, professionally deep cleaned and polished, restoring it to its former glory, , a stunning centrepiece on the dining table.
The underside is signed with Barker Brothers silversmith marks.
Dating to circa 1930, it remains in superb condition.
Barker Brothers was a prominent silversmith company based in Birmingham, England, known for producing high-quality silverware and decorative metal goods in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
