:: Extremely detailed repeating multi-column and row gul medallions in a tight and fine weave. Amazing splendor in the design execution, known as the 'Bokhara' motif or 'elephant footprint' design (actually geometric floral designs) in the spirit of yesteryear Tekke carpets. Plush, soft, silk-like pile. Superb quality, long-stapled wool with high sheen and luster adding to great dynamic and contrast from light and dark sides. Colors and shades include: Chestnut rust, charcoal, saffron yellow, and more. Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Afghani Bokhara design rug made in Afghanistan circa 1990's vintage.
