Fisher, depicting a barnyard scene in Monmouth … Read more Truly charming miniature watercolor painting entitled 'Carolyn's Goats' by English artist, John J. Fisher, depicting a barnyard scene in Monmouth Wales, U.K. The painting is a lovely view of country life with adorable goats dining on hay in a picturesque barn. The watercolor is highly detailed with the barn and goats executed in shades of brown, yellow, green, white and a touch of red and blue. It is signed and dated in the bottom right corner and encased in a small brass frame with convex glass. A gallery or show certificate is pasted on the backside. This piece is from the estate of Meredith Rambo, a Georgia artist best known for her dog portraits and her own miniature paintings. Easel is not included.

The painting is in very good condition. The frame shows some signs of age related patina.

The painting in frame measures 3" wide x 3" tall x .38" deep. Without the frame, the painting is 3" wide x 2.5" tall. See less
