The … Read more A very modern and futuristic styled Wrought Iron & Expanded Metal Rocking Chair designed by John Salterini circa 1950's. The pictures tell the story here of how simplistically stylish this impressively designed rocking chair is with its elegant lines created through the use of basic industrial material that are hallmarks of Salterini chairs: the use of expanded metal for support areas and his signature "handlebar" rocker arms are pure Salterini design. This particular version of Salterinis' outdoor rocker is a very rare smaller Youth size compared to his larger version of this same design which incorporates drink holders in the arms for the grown ups. I can actually fit into it comfortably but it is mostly too low for an adult in general, it is very similar in proportions to those low folding aluminum beach chairs. See less
