Connoisseurs may note a mild resemblance to 16th- and 17th-Century Persian vase patterns in the lattice depiction, though the more rectilinear inclinations of this pattern draws on vintage Turkish sensibilities with a variety of arguable cultural nods. Designers will note the interception of the subtle, tasteful abrash of the field brown with the pattern and the intriguing way the dual senses of movement play together, offering a slightly more lively look into an otherwise historic, very mature appeal seen in this traditional rug.

We’re especially very proud of our vintage Kilims and Turkish rugs curated for our expansive collection of both area rugs and runners alike.
