The jambs with cantered, tapered and flute carved semi detached columns, stood on circular footblocks, which are terminating in delicately carved acanthus leaf capitals. The frieze finely carved end to end with ribbon tied laurel leaf. The shelf with circular corners covering the capitals a large model of this type of fireplace, with very good proportions and scale.
