Used as … Read more Rare, long Buffet/Sideboard.So beautiful with a story to tell. 10+ feet. Circa 1750. Found in Denver and restored. Used as Buffet and Bar. Reworked locks, installed new shelving, pull out drawers for liquor bottles and bar utensils. Five doors, three interior sections, with detailed moulding, fielded panels and handsome iron hardware. Both practical and beautiful as it provides ample storage and serving space. Lovely, warm patina. Told it probably was used in a French country home. See less

Condition report when purchased at Erin Johnson Antiques, LTD: Original case and backboards, legs and feet, two plank construction with hand made nails, hand wrought iron hardware. Natural evidence of aged wear to top surface. Oak top has 1/4 inch shrinkage between planks. Purchased for $15,000 and invested $7000 for refurbishing. Due to age has been stabilized in the interior. Has been in storage and would benefit from waxing to restore its lovely patina. I have downsized and need to sell rather than store, thus the pricing. less
