The lamp features a y-shaped wooden arm that elegantly combines with brass details and a vibrant yellow shade, embodying the style and aesthetic of its era. In the 1950s, many designers experimented with similar forms, but few in italy incorporated wood into their lighting designs, likely due to the constructional challenges it presented. Stilnovo managed to overcome these complexities, using partly brass structure and not using the wood only as construction but mainly as easthetic feature. Achieving a superb blend of materials that gives this lamp its special character. The thoughtful combination of wood, brass, and metal results in a piece that is both visually striking and functionally innovative. This wall lamp offers remarkable versatility with its adjustable features—the arm can swivel and extend, while the shade's height is also adjustable. The shade stays perfectly balanced, thanks to a counterweight at the end of the arm, ensuring stability and ease of use. This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is also suitable for use in the usa. It can be hardwired or used with plug. For us usage we could change the plug, or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
