adolf meyer was a german architect. From 1919 to 1929, he worked as a master craftsman at the bauhaus, where he taught draftsmanship and construction engineering.
he was employed as a lighting designer at zeiss ikon from 1925 until his death in 1929.
zeiss ikon was founded in jena in 1925 and produced lighting for offices, homes, and public buildings. The company was particularly well-known for its mirrored glass lamps.
