Unlike the lighter, hollow resin replicas frequently seen online, this specific piece is a highly substantial, authorized vintage 1960s plaster/marbelite cast composite—weighing a dense and impressive near 6 pounds.

This piece features exceptional, verifiable provenance on the lower reverse. It displays a crisp, hand-incised "C. HARTWIG" signature sitting directly alongside the highly coveted "SG" (Sculptors Guild) monogram. The sculpture remains flawlessly integrated and mounted onto its original geometric, ebonized black base.
