Illustrated by Vernier and manufactured by Ipac in the 1960s, this authentic double-sided metal advertising sign is remarkable for its use of two advertising poster techniques: a blue enameled metal base overlaid with polychrome wallpaper, creating a brightly colored effect highlighting the product "Supercarburant ANTIGIVRE," which is noticeable from afar!

It belonged to the aunt of its former owner, who owned a gas station in the town of Vierzon, in central France. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and can be mounted on a wall using the two holes on either side of the top of the sign, or hung, as it is double-sided and reversible. Having endured the long summer heat as well as the long, cold winter nights, this valiant sign served its owner well from the 1960s to the 1990s, until it ended up stored in an attic, waiting to find a place of its true worth.

It has obviously suffered some wear over time, with one side being in better condition than the other. This is what gives it its charm and vintage authenticity, and its character. This in no way detracts from its beauty and original design.
