Named after the ligurian town where gardella completed several architectural works, the arenzano is a discreetly sculptural piece that reflects the designer’s rationalist sensibility and refined material language. This early edition features a slender structure in patinated brass and a softly diffused satin-finished opaline (“lattimo”) glass shade, offering a warm, elegant glow. The contrast between the solid brass base and the milky translucence of the glass evokes gardella’s constant balance between function and poetry. Sourced from a private italian residence, the pair is in very good vintage condition, with rich original patina and intact glass diffusers. Ideal for bedside tables, living rooms, or architectural interiors, these lamps are as decorative as they are timeless — rare survivors of early azucena production. Bibliography: g.
