This kettle is a perfect example of streamline design.
Jean Picquot designed this kettle for Burrage and Boyde in 1938 and the company planned to release it.
Unfortunately the war came in between and the fact had to switch to manufacture spitfire airplane and bomb parts instead.
In 1946 after the war it was finally released and became in instant hit.
The company metallurgy division invented a magnesium-aluminium alloy that they named Magnallium. This is what the kettle is made of. This piece has an attribution mark,
