Turner and Thomas Girtin found patronage, along with other members including John Linnell, John Sell Cotman, Peter de Wint, William Henry Hunt, Joshua Cristall and John Varley.The landscape is unidentified but on the verso is described as 'probably Surrey'.Provenance: Alexander Monro and by descent.All artworks come with a Certificate of Authenticity and—if it is a collection artwork—its accompanying collection text or artist biography. Signed: Inscribed with initials verso. Inscribed: Inscribed verso.
