a perfect blend of form and function, this iconic lighting piece brings a touch of futuristic mid-century modern to your interior.

the lamp consists of a chrome frame with three partially open tubes/cylinders in chromed metal, which together form a beautiful and playful design.
inside the tubes is an e14 socket with a mirror bulb (used bulbs are included).

because the lamp is not marked, it is unfortunately not possible to say with 100% certainty who the maker is. On the internet i find references to the renowned french industrial designer max sauze (1933), who is known for his mastery of aluminum.
max sauze created iconic pieces (also for the famous italian sciolari) including the celebrated 1970 "cassiopé" hanging lamp. Trained at top art schools in algiers and paris, sauze became known for his striking aluminum designs and geometric forms. By the late 1960s, his sculptural lighting had gained international acclaim, with exhibitions across europe, the u.s., and canada — including at the musée des arts décoratifs and centre pompidou in paris.

this design and the use of chrome-plated metal are hallmarks of the mid-century modern/space age style and will make a timeless addition to your dining room, living room, kitchen or hallway.
