The solid wood frame is original, as are the legs and metal parts. All the padding has been replaced and is new; the muslin underlining, also new, is upholstery-ready. The craftsmanship and architectural balance are accented by a unique sinuous form and construction details: note the sofa seat is cut at an angle on the underside, creating an impactful visual effect. This piece retains its original black lacquer tapered brass legs, typical of Italian modernist aesthetics.
