This sophisticated Mid-Century Modern decorative dish was realized by the esteemed maker Rosenthal in Germany, circa 1980. It features a square body with rounded sides offering a highly expressionistic speckled finish suggesting a richly patinated surface in bronze and lavender tones. The back of the dish is unfinished in lustrous white porcelain and signed "Rosenthal Germany". This is a beautiful decorative dish that promises to delight discerning collectors of midcentury porcelain as well as those with a penchant for exquisite objects. Excellent vintage condition.
