The Lute Player after Caravaggio, circa late 20th Century.
The original painting by the Italian Caravaggio (1571-1610) is in the Hermitage Museum.
The oil painting features a young woman seated at a table with her lute in hand. Sheet music and a violin are seen on the table next to a vase. The painting is on canvas with natural craquelure to give the appearance of age. Ornately framed in gold.
