Hand knotted in pure 100 % silk, this geometric rug is an addition to the Modern Classics Collection by Rug & Kilim, a distinct line among the award-winning atelier’s New & Modern rugs drawing inspiration from the most rare and celebrated classic patterns alike. This particular piece adapts an Anatolian Kilim pattern into pile with a particular sense of grandeur, capturing both the opulence of the red and gold medallion pattern as well as the finesse of the bukagi arrow motifs in the blue background—a time-honored motif widely believed to symbolize themes of familial and romantic unity. The play of the silk’s natural metallic sheen with the lush pile height brings out both the sense of movement and the natural dimensionality in the juxtaposed hues of the medallion and field background; complemented by the vibrant orange and green accents in this bold, colorful classic piece. Achieved by our most reputed long-standing partner loom in India.
About the Collection: Since establishing our trade-only showroom in New York over 20 years ago, the interest in modern and contemporary flooring has been equal parts motivation and inspiration for Josh, who has long invested efforts innovating material and pioneering the designs we add to this aspect of our collections. To that, Josh Nazmiyal’s passion for the history of design has inspired our growing geometric, abstract, and neo-traditional designs with exciting additions, particularly our Homage and Mid Century collections standing as pillars of the collections.
The Homage Collection from our classic style sub collection enjoys inspiration from Josh’s love of European rug sensibilities with a new take on distressed shabby chic. The Mid Century collection, too, draws influence from icons of the 1950s in its growing selection of patterns, both the effort of refining large-scale graph, texture, and color over three years and collaborating with classic and current designers who’ve embraced the style as a new face of modern.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
