This landscape oil painting is a view of the vegetable garden, barns, out buildings, fields and mountains at Nimrod Hall in beautiful Bath County, Virginia, in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is a place where I have painted in the summers for over 25 years. The painting is oil on stretched canvas.

Bio of the artist:
Teresa DiMarco, Richmond Virginia artist and Plein air painter, sees and captures landscapes in terms of planes of light, geometric shapes of color and dramatic perspective. She works in oils, often onsite en Plein air, and in the studio from photos she has taken in her travels. Graduated from University of Virginia. Studied art for more 30 years at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Studio School and in art workshops around the world. She has exhibited at Artspace Gallery, the Studio School at Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Crossroads Gallery, Zeus Gallery and numerous other shows in Virginia, and has won numerous awards.
