The buffet is large, however the bleached oak gives it an overall light look and the hand-carving soften its rectangular lines. The buffet features a single inset drawer decorated with molding. On each side of the drawer we can find a single-door cabinet with a drawer and a shelf, providing plenty of storage space. The paneling on the front of the doors and under the drawer are all hand-carved and provide depth. On the front corner the buffet is adorned with beautiful hand-carved floral patterns, which is repeated on the block legs as well, giving it a nice balance. The sides are flat and the top is made of two boards with cantered edges.
Overall this is a beautiful, large piece that will provide storage space as well as decoration to a living room or dining room. The carving, paneling and grain striation of the bleached oak all add elegant decoration and help softening the overall appearance of this very large piece. See less
