Light wood, probably beech
with loose cushions, firm, heavy spring core
Backrest with fine horizontal wooden struts - freely adjustable - an eye-catcher even from behind!
The wooden frame is in excellent condition, with only minimal signs of wear and tear.
The pale pink shimmering covers are original and in good condition - since the cushions are removable, reupholstering in the color/pattern/material of your choice is relatively inexpensive.
We cleaned the cushions with upholstery cleaner - all of our upholstered furniture is cleaned by us upon arrival and before departure.
All in all, a truly fine piece of jewelry! We have two of these treasures, along with two matching armchairs and a large round coffee table, for sale!
