An Unusual English 18th Century George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers.
The chest with an unusual drawer configuration consisting of two sets of equally sized small drawers above two larger drawers. All the drawers have fine cockbeaded mouldings to the edges. It also incorporates a brushing slide which is thicker and sturdier than usual. The swan's neck handles and escutcheons are original and of very high quality. The overhanging top has a moulded edge and has acquired a superb colour. The chest is raised on its original shaped bracket feet.
Great colour and patination throughout.
