Here is a stunning, Anglo-Indian wall-mounted bed canopy/valance that features embossed bronze and gold finished metal pieces and turned wood columns accented with beautiful gold wood finials. The interior base of the piece is made of wood with supports for hanging a curtain rod inside the center section. The piece is meant to be hung on a wall with drapery/textile coming out from the bottom. It would be a perfect bed canopy or window valance.

This piece appears to have been made with antique/vintage parts. The structure is excellent - solid and in good condition. It is the newer, later 20th c. additions. The embossed overlays and wood columns are older, possibly antique. They show some patina and light aging. Some slight differences in coloration to the finials and columns - this was how it was made. less
