An exquisite Swedish Art Deco table lamp by Josef Ekberg, dated 1928, crafted at the renowned Gustavsberg porcelain factory. The ceramic base features Ekberg’s signature sgraffito technique with deep plum glazing accented by golden highlights, creating a rich, elegant contrast. The fluted form and gently scalloped base add a sculptural dimension to the design. This lamp retains its original pleated silk shade in a soft rose hue, trimmed with gold fringe and tassels, reflecting the opulence of late 1920s decorative arts. Signed and dated on the base. A rare and collectible piece that beautifully showcases Ekberg’s refined craftsmanship and timeless Nordic style. Rewired to current standards. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
