The built-in extension is ideal for four or six guests. … Read more Rare "Chelsea" table by Vittorio Introini for Saporiti, Italy, 1960. The built-in extension is ideal for four or six guests. Italian architect Vittorio Introini (1935-) became famous for his designs produced by Italian companies such as Saporiti, Cassina and Poltronova. His Superonda chair, designed in 1966, became one of his most famous creations, becoming a symbol of 1960s pop culture and exhibited in museums around the world, including the MOMA Museum New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Introini also worked on interior architecture projects, designing commercial spaces for prestigious brands such as Ferrari, Fiat and Alitalia. He also taught industrial design at the Politecnico di Milano. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
